Every since I had my procedure I have been eating a lot of fish.  I average fish at least once a day.  Prior to my surgery I maybe had fish once every other week.

This means I eat a lot less red meat.  I still have an occasional steak, hamburger or meatloaf however it is down to maybe three times a week.

I don’t know why I want fish instead of beef.  Maybe because it flakes and doesn’t take as much chewing?  Maybe because I can use a tartar sauce instead of sugar based ketchup?  Maybe because the fish can be microwaved and tastes great?  I think it is a combination of all of those.

Two 4 ounce fish fillets fill me up and keep me satisfied for hours.  My favorite fish is flounder.
